Today I got up early and rode my bike to beach yoga. It was sweaty and sandy and I had a flat back tire the whole time (of course I realized about 5 minutes out from my apartment building where the air pump was), but I’m so glad I did that for myself. I had already moved more than 7,000 steps by 10:30am.
I may not look any different than I did 6 weeks ago, but I can proudly say that I have followed through with 4 days per week of intense physical activity for at least 30 minutes each time. I have eaten cleaner & cheated less often, and while I refuse to give up cheese or my frappucinos, I have tried.
Here’s a big round of applause to all of you out there who are TRYING. May you feel amazingly healthy and be amazed by what your healthy body can do.
Do something good for your body today because it makes you feel good, not because it makes you skinny. xoxo
